Qatar! no way, has one of the lowest crime stats in the region, has no terrorist attacks and is so tiny that any incident is easy to detect in minutes. Qatar is one of the safest countries u can ever be in.

No, Qatar is one of the safest countries in the middle-east. My fathers company is stationed there and he has no problems with anyone what so ever. Qatar is a very rich and friendly country.. Just try to make friends within your co-workers, sure you'll be asked questions by guys, like if you want to get married and crap like that, but just ignore them...


Ask someone that lives and works there from your company... Maybe they could fill you in better since they're living it

If you're an American or look Western European, then yes. Not as dangerous as Iraq, not as repressive as Iran, and not as flat out flakey as Syria - but still not a great place to go career building unless you're a guy in the construction business.

I'm in Qatar right now. (Air Force) It seems pretty safe to me. Doha is really rich.

The place is fine, don't listen to the negative remarks just go and make a living there. It is one of the fastest growing economy in the region.
