You get to share yourself and your experiences of life with the world.
You get to give comfort to the ones who are remote and dont have access to pleasures but by seeing you, they will see their own star.
You get to move people more easily.
You can make a bigger difference in the world.
Unfortunately most celebrities don't know what to do with their fame. They don't know that there is more to life that their own carrers and achievements.
As a celebrity you can achieve for yourself and then bring others to achieve for themselves and thats an even bigger accomplishment.

You can get away with stuff common folks like you and me couldn't
You go to nice rehab houses
You can cuss out people for no reason.
You can travel all over the world
You can have your mom and dad beg you for money
You can put out a album even if you can't sing ( Paris Hilton )
You have thousands of people wanting to take your picture hoping that you might physically attack them so they can sue you and retire.
