true Americans are= anyone who gets an American citizenship, regardless of race, ethnic background, or any other reason.....as you said all of us came mostly from Europe, just because we've been here longer doesn't mean we are more American, most of the people who come here are running from their governments, just as our ancestors did....so i think it's hypocrisy to say...Go home Mexican, they oughta say go home european

I think the true Americans are those who come here legally, or were born here. Those who work and pull their own weight, pay taxes, live with in the law, and don't think that everyone owes them something. They are of every nationality.

to the guy ahead of me, the kennewick man may have been from europe, but his skull has asian features, like majority of the native americans. If you want to go by ancient skulls, then I can tell you that they have found skulls older than the kennewick man that have skulls strongly characteristic of the aborigine skulls in australia (Luzia), which are black african by orgin, but that doesn't mean I can say blacks were here first, it's just the oldest skull they found. They have also found cave paintings predating the kennewick man and found near where the african skulls were found around modern day new mexico. I'll provide links to prove my data.

The true Americans are the ones who gave themselves that name and identify themselves by that name.
