school sweetheart??

Actually, I'm married to my wife that I met since 6th grade. No joke. But it wasn't until my senior year in high school that I began to develop a passion for her. She was innocent, graceful, and beautiful. She had eyes that shined greater than the ocean, and she had a personality that quietly glowed brighter than anyone else.
I still remember asking her to prom. It wasn't an easy thing, but when I did, she smiled, gave a small soft laugh and nodded. Since that day, everything else became history. We ended up going to the same college together and three years ago, I asked for her hand in marriage.
Yes. I guess you could say I married my high school sweetheart. Though not everyday is a good day, I wouldn't be able to breathe knowing that my wife is not next to me when I wake up in the morning.

I didn't have a high school sweetheart. But I did marry my college sweetheart. We've been married for 18 years, and have two children.
However a couple of my high school classmates got married two weeks after graduating. That has been 21 years ago, and they are still together with children in high school now.

High School sweetheart, no. But I met the girl I am married to right after graduation back in '73.........

Not Me,
I was even done with college when I met my sweetie and i am very glad I waited.
He walked in sat down and was doomed from that moment!! lol
honestly he chased me through everything for 2 1/2 years before I said yes.
I think it was much better than anything I ever could have had from my childhood sweetheart ( who proposed to me and I said no in high school)

Well, that would be a negative. Yup, not married anymore and when I was it wasn't to my high school sweetheart either.

I am. And am very happy. Met him my Freshmen year. Married him several months after I graduated High school. It has been 13 years and almost 4 months now.

We didn't go to the same school, and I graduated a year before him ... I'm a little over a year older than he is.
We are both in our "thirty somethings"...and we've been married for 14 years, so I think that makes us pretty special!
