Anybody watching 20/20?What is wrong with those people picketing at funerals?Some things are too cruel.

It is Fred Phelps ans his fanatical family and congregation from I think the Eastbourough Baptist Church in Topeka, Ks. They say that their motivation is that the soldiers are dying in Iraq because the US supports homosexuals or something crazy like that.
They are a sick bunch, my uncle lives in Topeka and used to be his barber.

That would be Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church. THEY ARE A CULT!!!
They feel that they have a direct line to God, and He tells them that homosexuality is the worst thing that there is. They think it is their responsibility to inform the world about this. Since our government doesn't persecute gay people, these morons (who are by the way ALL lawyers!) have decided that that it is their job to protest as much as possible. Since the military supports what the government sets as policy, they protest the military.
They are from Topeka, Kansas. I use to drive a delivery truck there, and would see them and all their banners and signs out on the streets. It is disgusting!
When my mother died a year and a half ago, and was given a military funeral with full honors (she was in the Marine Corps in the 60's) I was concerned about those idiots possibly showing up there. If it had happened several of them would have been shot. We are a country family, and several of us carry guns in our vehicles.

They should all be beaten with sticks!!!! It is one thin to be against the war but to picket a funeral of a fallen American while the family watches these people they need shot themselves.

A religious group who believe that those who are in agreement with the war/army are going to hell cause they allow 'gay' individuals to join the armed forces.

I saw, they claim to be doing it in the name of God. I'm thinking he isn't going to show them a whole lot of mercy on this. But they asked for it, on their knees.
So called stars doing celeb news, speaking ill of the dead for a laugh....so going to pay.
