1. I would make sure that the only reporters who are on camera come from the world of print journalism.
2. I would hang a sign from the lights above the anchor desk, facing the following words towards the anchors:
"First rule of good reporting: If your mother says she loves you, check it out!".
3. I would fire the first reporter who tried to set it up so he was the subject of the story, rather than the story itself. Also on the "to be canned" list would be any reporter who wined, dined or became involved with a source.

They are things that can only be discovered after hundreds and hundreds of trials. And of course, strict restriction needs to be in place. However, because the basis of science is always changing due to new discoveries, we need to also have sympathy to the drug company as well. They are not miracle makers, they only try to make profits by selling something that they "think" might help other people. Imagine the world without antibiotics and other medication, how many people would have to die? If we agree that science can be changed, the drug company might not have an excuse of increasing medication prices because of law suit. Also if we look at any other area that has used the socialist system it has bogged down and failed to live up to its Utopian promise. No system is perfect but open and free market is the best out there.

Fire ALL the Far Left Wing ACLU Adoring Ultra Liberal Anti-America Ideologues who comprise the Executive management of the Networks!

Establish a return to the fundamental principals of JOURNALISM not Liberal Left Wing propaganda dissemination.

The USA mainstream media, i.e. NBC, CNN are now controlled by Far Left Wing Liberal Ideologues following in lock step with the MoveOn George Soros Left of Left Socialist crowd.

And their ratings show it !!!

The FOX News Network ratings are consistently "5 times higher than ALL the Cable News Networks COMBINED"
and the Left of Left Liberals running the Mainstream media still don't get it !!!!!

From a UK viewpoint, I would personally instigate a very fair and transparent journalistic style. A lot of the major US news networks are orchestrated by one-sided political viewpoints. A balanced approach would ensure all viewpoints are considered, improving the accuracy of news stories and therefore hopefully increasing trust and listening figures.

It is essential people are given the facts and the truth instead of information that has been whitewashed to prove a particular political point.
