Wrestling Ability - Jericho has a lot more in terms of styles and experience and athleticism and other things, but the Rock was better in terms of pacing, story-telling, etc., the intangibles, especially considering his lack of a moveset and actual wrestling skills. Then again, outside of the WWE, the Rock wouldn't do as well, he thrived in sports entertainment, while Jericho could do well anywhere. I'd say Jericho by a hair, it's close though.
Mic Skills: The Rock is one of the few guys who can beat Jericho at mic skills, and I'd go as far as saying that he's arguably the best mic worker of all time.
Comeback: The Rock, as he's a tad bit more entertaining and could really help the WWE more as a bigger draw than Jericho, although I'd like either one to make a comeback.
Personal Opinion: I'm actually on the fence. I enjoy both men's work equally, and can't decide between the two.

~i think Jericho is a little bit better on the wrestling ability part..he is the man of 1000 holds!!The Rock is close enough but Y2J is better...
~THe Rock is better than Y2J...possibly the greatest mic skills ever along with Austin.Y2J is very good but in this part,noone is better than The Great One!!
~The Rock,cause i think he has lot to give in thewrestling business and he is only 35.But his unwillingness to return..making me think that it is almost impossible...
~Both are great characters...and great wrestlers.I enjoy more The Rock though..cause he is an amazing entertainer!You can never get bored of The Rock..something new is coming time by time...
Generally speaking..i think that The Rock is a bit better than Y2J...

I know a bunch of people are going to disagree with me, but I just think Jericho is more exciting to watch. Rock may be better on the mic, but Jericho's got him in the ring.

the rock beats jericho hands down....he can entertain the crowd just by talking on the mic.....
