This is a potentially dangerous situation for a child's mental health. A child simply cannot deal with parents who are constantly arguing. They might pretend nothing's wrong, but they are really hurting inside

sure......every kid sees their parents as their model for life. At the very least, parents who argue all the time are exhibiting this as how married couples treat one another and, he/she will either seek out the same volitile relationships for herself or she will shy away from commitment to another out of fear of the same unhappy marriage.

Whether parents argue or parents divorce, in either case there are repercussions for a child.

Both parents need to try to stop thinking like singles (what I want) and become a team again (what is best for us and our children). Children need safety and peace, or they learn that adults are scary, unpredictable, and not competent.

Those lessons make it hard to trust God or to learn to trust Him.

They also make people very hesitant to marry one day themselves.

Yes you can grow up as a violent person or you can reject other sex or feel insecure, because the very people who is suppose to show love are exposing you to the contrary.

Well, you might get the impression that that is how couples interact, maybe even the way people interact. It is also not good on the eardrums.
