I annoys the hell out of me! I understand it's quicker, but when you start adding the '$' instead of an 'S', then there's something wrong with you.

Most the time it's not even quicker! I have to think so much harder to get myself to type like that. Maybe it's easier for REALLY slow typers I guess. BUT COME ON, learning how to communicate properly via email these days is SO important!

Omg Yes I Do. Especially Those Who Do Caps @ The Beginning Of Each Word, oR AlTeRnAtE CaPs, or r3pl4c3 l3tt3r5 w1th num83rs.
Oh, and the people who spell things differently thinking it's cool, eg:
"ow waz skool? skool wuz kewl, yooh shud hav been dere. it wuz fecking awsum babe."
I know, I'm probably being a bit of a snob.

I don't mind the occasional "lol" or "IMO" but if you type mainly in Internet lingo, it's annoying. That should be only reserved in text messages. It is quicker, but then again, not everyone can understand lingo.

its almost as annoying as when people type with out any punctuation or capitalization and go on and on and on with out really making a point as to what they are saying or anything like that do you know what i mean

i know, like pushing "shift 4" probably takes longer then pushing the "s" key. And is hard as hell to read.
