I have two very large canker sores on the inside part of mouth on the flap of lip, and they keep bleeding. It doesn't matter if I touch them or not. I've tried one or two different medicines, but that just makes it bleed more. It doesn't even numb the pain like it's supposed to! How do I get them to go away?

They will heal in about two weeks, try not to touch them or scratch them. This is something the body will heal. There is not much you can do. Try to live with it for about 10 days - they will go away. Google "Canker sore" and you will find a lot of info on this subject. Good luck and believe me they will heal on their own.

I look like a vampire after I brush my teeth & floss at night. It wasn't THAT bad early on though. Pregnancy definitely causes it as does being anemic (which I am & may have been before the pregnancy). My dentist actually called a periodontist (gum specialist) to see if there is anything to do & they said you just have to wait it out. He said my teeth were spotless but just couldn't stop the bleeding. I've never heard of canker sores being a sign but I do know you can get them from lack of vitamin C. If you have a baby in there stealing your vitamins from you, I don't see why not.
