I admit that it seems like quackery, but when you think about the fact that the spine protects the spinal cord, which is some of the largest nerve bundles in the body, it makes sense. If one of those nerve is pinched or something, it can reverberate pain all over the body.

Personally, I had foot pain that was so severe I couldn't go to museums, theme parks, etc. I could barely walk, couldn't stand for long periods of time, or exercise. I started seeing a chriopractor regularly and the foot pain is gone. I tried orthotics (4 pairs over 12 years) and nothing ever helped. I am too young (25) to be on pain killers for the rest of my life. Chiropractic saved me years of agony.

One more thing, chiropractic is good for muscle pain caused by vertebral misalignment. But sometimes muscle pain is caused by something else, so massage will make it feel better than chiros will.

I respect those people who feel chiropractic adjustments have helped them.

Personally, I think chiropractic 'medicine' is just a few levels above quackery and is a lot of hocus-pocus. I have seen three different chiropractors in my life, for different issues, and have had no improvement in my conditions whatsoever. Those conditions healed only after visits to conventional doctors/ surgeons.

Question.......are you having a muscle problem in your back or can you tell its the spine that's giving your problems. My husbands lower back bothered severally. He went to chiropractor for about 3 weeks-2 times a week and he said he defiantly helped. NOW I asked a question about my back about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I started going to a chiropractor about my muscles in my back. Did adjustments in my neck and mid/upper back 2 times a week for 2 weeks then I started doing 1 adjustment WITH a 30 min. deep massage in my mid/upper back and now next week I'm going with 1 hour massage and not do the adjustment. I honestly can say I believe the massages is helping more than the adjustment because my problem started with me starting to work sitting at a computer all day 5 days a week and I'm finally feeling some relief with fixing my desk so that its egromatically correct and with the massages. So I guess yes is the answer to your questions. NOW I do want to tell you the massages aren't some easy going massage its deep muscle massage and it makes me sore for 2-3 days.............Im wondering how chiropractic helped browncuts friend get pregnant 3xs.....what did her husband say about that?????

Absolutely, positively changed my life. Have had neck pain for so very many years. I have arthritis in my neck. I went to chiropractor with a headache that I had for many days, because of my neck. My headache disappeared immediately with my first adjustment. Finally having some insurance coverage is what finally got me there. It improved my life very much.

I was in daily back pain with some muscle burning, never comfortable. Our Chiropractor, Dr. Zeagler, fixed me up!!
I feel very much better if I get monthly maintenance adjustments.

Yes.
My neck had slipped, (sublimation) at the C6-C7 vertebrae. Consequently I was having tingling in my little finger and right finger on both hands. It was starting to get numb.

Just a few adjustments, and much better now.
