Depends on what you want to do with them.
If you just want to get rid of them, in an urban environment, municipalities have leaf pickup. Just rake them to the curb.
If you are in a rural environment, pile them in back, out of the way, and let them rot. The resulting mulch will help to fertilize your lawn, or garden.
The pile will shrink, as it mulches(rots), and as the crisp leaves become soggy. If you do nothing, it will reduce itself substantially.
Good luck

burn them...
but constantly watch it with a garden hose.. as the pile gets smaller it will smolder and you just keep raking the pile inward.
I live in a rural area.. and this is an accepted method out here. People will say, "But what if you start a fire!".. that won't happen if you responsibly watch it and do it on a windless day.

Mulch them with a mower, then compost them if you have space.
You can also use them to cover flower beds and shrubs for the winter. I wrap my dwarf spruce trees in sheets stuffed with leaves to stop wind burn.
I live in an urban area, have many leafy trees in my yard and I have not had to bag and dispose of leaves in years!
When I was young people burned them.

Well, if you have a burn ban on as we do here burning is out of the question. You could rent a shredder and make mulch out of the leaves and use it in the yard around shrubs and trees.

Nuclear explosives. I guarantee that if you use them the leaves will be gone. Or you could just try burning them or putting them in a mulch pile or compost heap, or putting them in large plastic bags - it will keep the level of fallout radiation in your neighborhood lower.

If you can, burn them. If you have iron skillets, you can clean them in the burning leaves (just bury them in the leaves before igniting). Otherwise, mulch them up and use them in your flowerbeds. If you don't want them for that, you could mulch them up and give them to someone who will appreciate them!

I think it's best to mow them up. They truly do disappear.
