I love both, and if presented with a choice I'd go see Zep... but I think the answer to your question is Beatles, because they obviously have a broader appeal.

We'll find out (sort of) this year. Zeppelin is having a reunion tour, and Sir Paul is out promoting his latest album.
But since you said still alive and in their prime (I'm assuming that you also mean still friends too), I'd have to say the Beatles. They were just SO huge!

probably the beatles, but if they both went on sale, I would go see led zeppelin, they are the best rock group ever! I think the beatles were just bigger, just not my thing
