I would have to say that politicians are way to over-payed for what they do. I also believe that they put on the worst performance because of the economic as well as the environmental state of the planet as well as countries individually. Football players spend much money enrolling in many football activities. They also dedicate much time into practicing and honing their skills and abilities. Although, many of them are still paid ridiculous sums of money at least it makes slightly more sense then the politicians. Although, it is difficult to compare which puts out more performance because their both performing in different ways. However, the impact of how they perform on society can relate in the right circumstances.

Leave off the thousand and its a great idea because most footballers would get paid what they are worth. 10 pounds a week plus bonuses would make for great entertainment.

I think you're going overboard with 10K a month as a starting wage, but yes it would make football more entertaining, although bonuses wouldn't go to defenders very often.

Yep. Something I've believed in for a while. Also there should be a ' capping ' of wages as these £100,000 a week figures are unjust.

i think there pay should be more performance related,
but i dont blame them for taking as much as they can as football makes so much money and for once the employees get a share.
they dont charge so much to pay for wages they charge so much because they can.

THEY ARE ALREADY PAID ACCORDING TO PERFORMANCE. PUT IT THIS WAY, THEY MAY HAVE A BASIC WAGE PLUS INCENTIVES BUT THE MINUTE THEY DO NOT DELIVER, PLAYERS GET DROPPED LIKE HOT POTATO.

No like all other professional they should have a contract, you cannot predict when you'll be hot or cold - that's the entertaining part.
