I'm not sure if you've seen the interview but Jerry appears a little arrogant when talking with Larry King? I don't think Mr. King meant any offense but Jerry was being a little jerkish and arrogant. Your thoughts?

Well, don't you think Larry was being extremely ignorant when he thought Seinfeld was CANCELLED?!?!?

Seinfeld Larry King

I understand why Jerry said what he said, but his tone was unnecessary. Larry apologized to him while Jerry continued on his self-loving rant. And Larry did know that the show was not canceled, he was just saying it wasn't in a form of a question so that the audience will know, for sure, that the show was not canceled. There's no reason for any artist to display arrogance like that. Jerry's blessed with so much wealth and success, I think it's really silly to bite at an old man for making a simple mistake. "Do you know who I am?".. Sounds like the cast of Seinfeld are a bunch of *******.

Larry Kings interviews are the worst and have been for years. Anyone watch when he interviewed Nancy Reagan a year before Ronald Reagan died?. Unbelievable! The Seinfeld "cancelled" question was simply a bad quesiton... as the interviewer King should've "told" everyone listening that Seinfeld went out on top and not tried to get that point out in the form of a quesiton. Did Jerry take advantage of the situation? I'm sure but that's what he's always done best .. I thought it was hilarious. The resume comment at the end is classic !

This was an opportunity missed for Jerry Seinfeld. It was obvious that Larry King knew that the show was not canceled and wanted to discuss the show’s ending in detail. I don’t think its common knowledge to all of Larry King’s audience that Jerry quit the show. Jerry took that opportunity and made himself look like a pompous self-aggrandizing uncouth entertainer. Jerry a looser...

This incident was egoism at its worst. Remember, King's comment came only a day after Seinfeld told reporters "The thing about me is, they can't buy me off..."

King meant the "They didn't cancel you, right, you canceled them?" comment as a nod to that attitude, implying that Jerry's been nothing but successful, and perhaps they should talk about it. It was an attempt at humor to discuss the show's success.

Everyone's talking about how Larry King is somehow worse for this incident, but the only thing I see on this video is Jerry Seinfeld insulting the host of a show three times as successful as his own, and completely derailing their idle chit chat merely because he thinks his success has been questioned.

He was more than a little arrogant. He was quite disrespectful.

I don't care if he was #1 when he quit and/or the show got canceled. That's still no excuse for bad behavior.

He messed over his co-workers in that show by cutting them out of a share of the rerun residuals.

He thinks he's all that but NOT.

You couldn't pay me to go see his new movie that's being advertised all over the place.

And is it true that his wife allegedly plagiarized some cookbook?

Jerry Seinfeld is the most arrogant, cocky, spoiled-rotten, babyish celebrity that I know of. Why people think he is funny I haven't got a clue. I have never laughed at anything he says. All I see is an arrogant person who thinks everyone should worship him. I do not understand America's fascination with him at all. Larry King should ban Seinfeld from his show forever after that childish little tantrum.

Lets just all be glad it WAS cancelled- or Jerry quit it, or whatever..... too bad for Jerry if we can't remember how his supposed #1 show ended. I'm just glad it DID end! There was one good 'actor' on that show and she is the only reason I ever watched it. The rest of them were pompous, non-talented, arrogant, greedy half-assed entertainers. It was a legitimate question on Larry's behalf and Jerry couldn't give a straight answer. Makes me wonder if the show DID cancel him!!!????

I don't think either were being all too serious. Larry may have asked the question seriously, but after that I think it was all hijinks and sort of funny really. I have seen Jerry in person doing his act and talking about the show and being interviewed by a substantially sized crowd. This is his humor, I don't think he felt insulted per say, but rather it seemed like he was kidding with Larry about making a mistaken remark. I don't know who decided to blow this out of proportion but it just seems like another way mass media tries to twist words and situations.
