I have a prepaid phone through Verizon. I used to have a contract but found that even though I didn't use the phones much, the monthly bill was almost double even though the phones weren't being used very much.

With prepay, the charge is only 99 cents a day and calls to any Verizon user are absolutely free.

Yes, your friend can use your chocolate if she gets her own phone number. I've given at least 3 phones to other people so they didn't have to buy one of their own. The only thing they paid was the activation fees (if there were any) and the monthly contract cost or prepay fees.

Since I have prepay, I couldn't tell you about Verizon's fees. I'm sorry about that.

if you want to text you need to get a package or pay the .20 cent per text.
