1) Its A Wonderful Life - one of the best movies ever. period.
2) A Christmas Carol (1951) - but the 1930s version is good too
3) The Holy And The Ivy - this is a beautiful british film about a clergyman and his disfunctional family. Totally sincere and well ahead of its time. Its totally worth checking out.

I love National Lampoons Christmas Vacation becuase it reminds me of what my family will probably be like in another few years, Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone 1 and 2, Christmas with the Kranks and Jack Frost. I watch its a Wonderful Life at least once just because it was my nana's favourite and reminds me of her...so does Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...she loved that one too.

It's A Wonderful Life is my favorite. A Christmas Story is my husband's favorite. We have that on all night long every year on Christmas Eve.

The Christmas Story...Peter billingsley wanted that BB Gun so bad....I love this..watch it every year...
I haven't seen this one yet,,but I hope to catch it, this year or rent it...
