This is a poll about prarie dogs in Cedar City, Utah?

Prairie dogs are being relocated by the hundreds from a golf course and 90% are dying from the stress of being moved. Golfers and the golf course owners are complaining the prairie dogs dig burrows all over the course and steal golf balls.

A. Leave the prairie dogs and their families alone?
B. Trap the golfers and have them relocated ?

I am a huge golf fan, love Phil Mickelson the lefty. However, I say B. Trap the golfers and have them relocated. The prairie dogs were there first after all.

I like prairie dogs, but I grew up listening to sheepherders who complained how horses would step in their holes and stumble or break a leg. Having said that, I would have more compassion for the golfers if the prairie dogs were interfering with their livelihood, the way they were a dangerous nuisance to sheepherders. However, playing golf is not a way to make money, it is only a hobby or pastime. If I were the golfers, I would fork out some extra cash to start building a prairie dog preserve and then relocate them, or else build some little amusement park rides or things the prairie dogs could play with, maybe even their own golf course, so the little creatures wouldn't feel compelled to steal others' golf balls. It amazes me that people would only want to play golf in Cedar City with the Shakespearean festival and other arts events to attend there, anyway.
