I really wanted to change my attitude and the reason is I underwent such heartbreak and I want to show people I've finally recovered and I'm strong enough to go on but I'm afraid what other people might say about my change. Is it necessary to be concerned with their opinions? Thanks

Pearl A, in the instant that you change, the universe, world changes with you. The energy you are becomes new, therefore you've changed the universe by that degree...hence everyone and everything has changed.....(one drop in the ocean does alter the whole sea). It is important for each of us to be authentic......truly be you. When you are the authentic you (at any given moment you can and do continually change through experience) you automatically give everyone around you, and who you meet, the opportunity to be their authentic selves also. This creates a REAL world populated by people who are being real. Personally, learning about me, my soul's expression, and my effect on those around me, in any given moment, is the most exciting and rewarding way to live. You are a unique soul who is here to experience life and to become more of your self, in every moment. Trust yourself. Trust others to be themselves and allow them to change, too, as they experience life. If you have learned something, and you have self awareness about it and how you've changed, then you are right on track. Love your own process.....it is called living......and if your friends or family notice you've changed then you have shown them that life IS about change and impermanence. Nothing stays the same...all is constantly changing. When we change our energy changes invisibly and we attract others, with like energy, to us. Just be you and enjoy the journey that is life.

I really don't think other people's opinions should come to play in something you're doing because you think it will help you. If they can't accept someone that has gone beyond their boundaries of acception, then i feel kinda sad for them, because people shouldn't really have a limit for that kind of thing. do whatever you think is best for you, and ignore them. at first ignoring what they think will be hard. really hard. but if you're willing to take the chance, and you stick to it, one or all of three things are guarenteed to happen(take it from someone who knows):

a)you will grow immune to it
b)they will still dislike it, but they'll get used to it
c)it will become the norm for all of you, and they'll get over it

good for you for even considering trying, and good luck!

Just a little. If everyone thinks you have gone too far the other way, you may need to take a closer look.

What you cannot do is let one person screw up your direction for their own interest.

That is your very personal and private right so go ahead and do whatever seems best for yourself (as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else) because no one has to live with you but "you".

You can control what you say, your actins, but you CAN'T control how other ppl take what you say.
In other words, remind yourself that you take responsability for your words and actions, but you can't control what twist ppl might put on your words. How they might take it, what they may think about it, ect.

No,

You cannot force yourself to be what you are not supposed to be.
You must obey your conscience and a good behavior before God.
If we try to please everybody we'll be near to a nervous breakdown.
