I just took a banana bread out of the oven it was cooling....I ran to the bathroom for just a moment and came back to my 3 guys who had consumed 2/3 of it in less then 5 minutes....and I did feed them supper.

I see you are sensitive like me. Do not let compliments get to you. Think of it this way. In one ear and out the other ear. Become a raging tiger and just keep moving on. I try not to judge people. You sound sort of like myself when you say you are left aside as an outcast. Become independent and follow your heart that will lead you to others like me. Don't break the chain or you will remain in your own gloom. I may be a dark person like you at times. We all have our ups and down in life but as Christina Aguilera says "words won't let me down".

Yes, I would definitely consider that a compliment! Nothing says lovin' like something from the oven, served by a loving mother.

I think you should have been both but more upset. First, they ate it because it was good(complement). But they ate it without your permission and they should have asked. But you should inform them not to do it again. Let them off with a warning. Believe me I get in trouble all the time for doing that!!

Well, you must feel complimented, the boys almost have eaten the banana bread...that means they love it.
