True Happiness happens whenever we are not judging anything.
Any time that you are not judging you are happy.
The moment that you start judging, you find something to be unhappy about.
It really is that simple.
A long time ago I thought that love was something that you reserved for some special set of people that you had judged worthy of it.
After a while I got to thinking about what Jesus had said about turning the other cheek and loving our neighbor I put the two together and realized that he had made no exceptions in these statements. It became obvious to me that he intended that we exclude no one from the love that we are supposed to be giving. I started thinking about my idea of love and suddenly realized that I had not been loving anyone at all. I had simply been judging everyone and every thing.
Judging someone worthy of love is not love, it is only judgment. I actually started to cry when I realized this. I saw just how much of my life I had wasted being judgmental, thinking of myself as a Christian, when I was actually doing just the opposite of what Jesus had asked us to do.
I thought about the verse judge not lest ye be judged, and I understood it for the first time.
I realized that I have a lot of catching up to do. So many opportunities were wasted. I now try to apply the love that I have for the world in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do.
If I start to feel afraid and think that I see someone that I should not love because of something I have thought or heard I try to catch my mistake as soon as possible. I tell myself that I have forgot the truth and have fallen for the same old trick that had cost me so many opportunities to be loving in the past. The horror of this realization is often all that is necessary to bring me back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense I was thinking.
I still have a lot to learn about love, but at least I’m making progress.
Love and blessings
Your brother

True happiness is something that one cannot gain while working to earn money. You must love your work, and love what you do. If you are doing something just because you know it is good for you, it is not true happiness. True happiness is when you love what you do, it is not for money, or for your benefit, it is something you just love to do, and you would do it even if you got nothing out of it. If you find faith in something, and help spread this faith to other people,( Christianity), it may help you reach true happiness.
As for love, it is something you aren't obsessed with, but is something that you cannot live without. You may think that something/somebody is truly loving you and you're loving it/him/her back, but after a while you notice that you two are being separated. This would not be called true love, but obsession, something that you think you love, but goes away after a while. Hope this helps
Also, I am also a teen, less than 15, but that doesn't stop me from thinking bout this stuff. :)

You are old enough to ask this question because you are capable of the emotion. True love makes for a lot of happiness but I would always say that you must be happy within yourself first. Never rely on outside "things" to allow happiness. People do it all of the time and they are wrecks.
Find healthy things that you enjoy doing, read as much as possible, shower good and virtuous people with love, and associate with good people. Be honest with yourself about what you do right and what makes you a good person. Be honest with yourself you fall short so that you can learn from it.
And good luck. Much credit to you for asking this question.

HAPPINESS
Happiness is form of joy created by the sense you are fulfulling your purpose.
E.g. If you think a young woman SHOULD have a boyfriend, and you find one, you are happy.
LOVE
Love is the act of considering the self interest of another as though it were your own.
E.g. If someone hurts someone you love, it is as thought they hurt you.
Love is not an emotion so much as a conduit for emotion.
E.g. If someone you love is happy or sad, to some degree you will feel what they feel.
Hope this helps.

Happiness is possible only in a relaxed state. If you struggle, you will become more and more tense, more anxious, more in anguish.
Love and happiness are divine things. They are not man's achievement. They are gifts of nature. Let them happen in you, just be open to them. They are nature's precious gifts to man.
And dear, don't ask definitions for things which are non-definable. When you define things, you are trying to limit them. Nothing divine can be defined.

You will be happiest if you learn to define happiness as the absence of unhappiness.
Love will mean many different things to you at different times

Happiness is knowing who you are and want to be no matter how offbeat or "crazy" it may sound to other people.
Happiness is knowing who you are and being okay with it.
Love...love is ....Love
The path to true happiness is within you.. (fortune cookie)
