Mainstream feminism is completely sexist.

The whole paranoid notion of "the patriarchy" is a way to place all men into a box & discriminate against them.

"Men are oppressing us (ALL MEN) so we need to have laws to stop their efforts."

"Men are abusive & dangerous, so we need EXTRA laws like VAWA to stop those knuckle-dragging abusers."

...& many other issues within that theme.

Look at insanely sexist radicals like Andrea Dworkin & how she is accepted by the mainstream feminists.

That right there speaks VOLUMES about how feminist hate speech against men is perfectly acceptable in their strange, strange little world.

Are some FEMINISTS sexist?"

We can say with certainty, that the mainstream feminist movement harbours sexist feminists and man-haters within it's movement.
http://www.womenagainstmen.com/media/feminism-is-a-hate-group.html

"When some of the most prominent feminists and famous women make openly hateful anti-male statements, and the mainstream feminist organizations say and do nothing to distance themselves from such public statements, then it’s clear that the hatred of men has an accepted place in mainstream feminism."

Man hating comments from prominent feminists have been a regular occurrence now for well over 40 years now. Seemingly, most feminists seem to have no problems with that. These radical man-haters have never been called out by feminists of any stripe. And there has never been a challenge against the feminist leadership for harbouring these misandrists. It seems that all those that identify as feminists must be OK with the man hate as part of the movement? And this is where many of us wonder just where the everyday feminists stand regarding sexism, bigotry and misandry.

Worse though, is the continuous rush by self professed feminists to defend, or excuse the man-haters rather than call them out for their hate. The evidence is to be found everywhere, as all these man-hating statements are on record, having been made in public. Yet even feminists here will deny the man-haters, and tells that feminism is only about "equality". Read some of the answers already posted. There is a god-like fear facing this cancer.

Any so-called feminist who acts in a sexist manner really ought to rethink the labels she chooses to wear.

Yes, some are...and it seems that they are blissfully unaware that by being sexist and self-proclaiming as feminists, they are giving feminism a bad name.

Some people that call themselves feminists are sexist, but I don't believe that feminism and sexist can coexist. IMO if someone is sexist they are not a feminist.

Statistically, what are the chances? The answer is obviously, 'of course'. And some blacks are rabid racists too. Tell me something I don't know.

Unfortunately, feminism is sexism!
Yes, they are right about beauty pageants being sexist, chauvinistic, degrading to women, exploits their well being, destroys their self esteem and confidence.
No, they are not right about mini-dresses, black pantyhose, high heels, and cosmatics being too sexy and sexist against women.
No, they are not right about women excepting their body hair because that is gross!
No, they are not right about teenage girls being allowed to have sex lives because they are too young.
Same rule for teenaged boys.
