I can not for the life of me figure out how to open the trunk of my car. I can't find a button inside and the key turns but does not open it. HELP!

Ok so after an exuasting few hours and countless swear words I solved my problem. The button on the trunk was stuck pushed in. I wiggled it out and then pushed it and it opened. Now do you all think WD40 would stop it from sticking again or is there another solution?

To open the rear trunk, the lock has to be in open position (insert key and turn to the left). Now use your thumb to push the cylinder in. The trunk should pop up. You also should be able to open the trunk by pushing the lock cylinder in after unlock all doors using remote unless the trunk is in valet mode.

Some of the german cars hid the trunk release button in the glove box. Actually it was to one side on a little flat area under the glove box lid. So open the glove box and see if it's there.
