4th of July is commericalized- all those adds for the food companies and outdoor stuff- money! I think every holiday has it's own stress, some more than others. Memorial day I guess. But if you travel for it, then there is stress right there. Are there really any stress free holidays? And the stress doesn't have to be the bad kind- even being happy and giddy for Xmas, people rush around trying to get stuff. Maybe that was bad cuz I've seen lots of nasty people in stores during nov/dec. Haha even though they aren't national holidays, I would say birthdays- you're not supposed to stress on the day you were born!

i come across the holiday season very tense because of the fact it bothers me lots that there are maximum of, many, lots of people who see this as a loot haul as a replace of a time to be grateful for what you have. I easily have a complicated time coping with getting what I do get, understanding maximum of ought to do without. for my section, if i did no longer ought to get Christmas waiting for my kinfolk, i might for-bypass all of it-at the same time. i understand I sound like i'm preaching, and that i do no longer carry with any particular faith, yet i wish who ever reads this gives you this some genuine theory, and not purely passes it over.

For me, New Year's Day -- I am just excited to be in a new year, have come home from the Military Base's New Year's Eve Event early in the AM ... and just going to sleep in, relax, and take it easy! A day where I have nothing on my agenda ... and I don't intend to do anything either!

Besides the holidays that the others left,I would say Easter and Valentines day for me. I just get candy, stuffed animals and dress it up for the occasion and my kids love it!
