I don't think he could be considered in the best. He hasn't beem around that long. When he took over for Bledsoe, the defense carried him to their first superbowl win and allways continued to have a freat D. If you look at rings alone you would certainly put him in the top five. If rings alone Terry Bradshaw won four rings in six years. Manning is still above him because of what he does on the field. No one prepares like he does and every opposing defense does more to try to confose other quaterbacks. The Colts D was their achilles heal. I would still rank Marino as the best quaterback of all time. No great Q.B. has done more with less. He holds or retired holding all the great records for the position. He's the greatest football player to not win a championship. Brett Farve beat his TD mark, but has thrown 30 more interceptions than Marino.

Lets see I guess I'm a bit older:
Terry Bradshaw (1970-83)
John Elway (1983-98)
Bob Griese (1967-80)
Dan Marino (1983-1999)
Joe Montana (1979-1994)
Joe Namath (1965-1977)
Bart Starr (1956-1971)
Roger Staubach (1969-1979)
Fran Tarkenton (1961-1978)
and the greatest so far Johnny Unitas (1956-1973)
The best still playing Brett Favre (1991-???) Peyton Manning (1998-???) Tom Brady (2000-???) Time will tell.

hell no Brady is not the best QB of all time It's Joe Montana!! Brady is way down on the list..Then there's Steve Young.John Elway and many many more for me to mention.. But i won't cause it would take to long lol..Plus The QB is only as good as the rest of the team that are around him. GOOO NINERS!!

A QB is no better than the team he has around him, no one man wins football games, put Brady on a bad team and see how good he is when 2 seconds after the snap he has lineman chasing him down, recievers who can't get open. History will determine who is the best of all time.

We need wait until his career is over before making that assessment. Yes, he has accomplished a lot so far, and he is already one of the, say, 10 greatest ever. If he can win a couple more Super Bowls and stay consistent for, say, 5 more years, you gotta put him in the discussion for #1.

As of today I still say it's Montana.

As others have said.....put Brady on a team with very little talent and see if he can win ballgames on his own. It is tough to consider Brady one of the top QB's of all time when he has always had solid group of players around him.

But....as always...do not try to use this logic on most Pats fans.

I would have to agree that he is...he has led 3 teams to Superbowl wins in the era of the salary cap. This means that all teams have the same amount of money to spend. Up until this year MANY teams (Colts fans take note) have had higher payrolls than the Patriots, yet the Pats came out on top. So yes, I would say that Brady may be the best QB of all time because he has done it on a more level playing field than those teams that bought their Superbowls(Cowgirls, 49'ers)

Joe Montana, just have them compare their ring collection. Plus, how many times can one person put a hurting on another top notch QB, John Elway.

You cant say Brady or Manning is the best until they have played on crappy teams and managed to carry them like Elway or Montana.

Lets not go there. Brady hasn't even scratched the surface of that.

Put Brady on the Raiders, Dolphins, or Rams. If he leads them to the playoffs we'll talk about it.
