I kind of miss them as they bring back happy memories.

I just checked amazon and you can get dvd's of the old tv series for all three you mention in your question. Your question has given me a good idea. I will get a Lassie tv season dvd and see how my grandson and granddaughter like them. I am putting my money on this: They will love them.
So thanks for a neat question that brings back fond memories and a great idea for a gift for my grandchildren.

Heard a great Lassie joke the other day: What do you get if you cross Lassie with a pit bull? A dog who rips your arm off but then runs and gets the doctor.....lol

EDIT Just rembered, I used to listen to the Lone Ranger on a huge radio before we bought our first B+W tv. Zenith 10 inch.

Well I liked watching Lassie. The Cartoon Network on cable use to show the old cartoons. I don't know what that stuff is that they are showing now. Nick at Night and TV Land are the closest you are going to get to old time TV for now unless you buy the DVDs. <>x

I miss some of them, but I think I'l get over it. I still have the option of renting them if I feel the urge to. It would be nice to have them on some type of a tv show now & again. Kid Nation is too much like real life...far too much bickering & back stabbing! Those kids will be scarred for life! Way worse than my/our generation was!

I loved those shows, they don't make them like that anymore. We used to watch them as a family. They still have the old cartoons on the Boomerang Network. The Flintstones are my favorite.
