1. Go to www.gomadrid.com and search for monuments and museums. The most famous museums are the Prado and the Reina Sofia--both have very important art and sculpture pieces.
2. Go to www.aboutbarcelona.com and search for monument and museums. There are fewer museums but it is a VERY interesting city, and the most famous monument is one of Christopher Columbus.
3. Go to www.spain.info for the information on Burgos and Toledo. Toledo was one of the most important medieval fortress cities in Europe--the entire town is built on a large hill land is like one big museum. Burgos is famous for its museum.

What is wrong with BUYING a TOUIST GUIDE?... the Fodor's SPAIN is an EXCELLENT SOURCE... but it's not FREE and it's not on the internet.
