i love my name because mine is unique for my age(29). My name is actually spelled Kala but I add a Y because people confuse it with cala.
Kala has just now become popular in the past 20 years and I am almost 30. I feel like I set a trend. He he!

My real name is a pseudo-hippie name my mother thought made her cool. That's a No. So I always used a nickname in Chlo. But NOW I find that everybody likes the old hippie names and I use them both. I get accused of lying or conniving
But I am happy just to be called. Ya know?

i dont think any one really loves their name i dont mind mine but im taking on my middle name which was orginally goin to be my frist but thats only cuz my first name is spelt in the uncommon way. my partner haded his name with avengance and has got hiis entire name changed through the legal system. mainly cuz his mother cant spell and becuase of that she spelt both his names incorrectly so ppl assumed he was a girl. which caused alot of teasing and mental anguish

My name isn't really unique. I know too many people with my name. But, I still like it. I like my middle name better. Wonder if I could get people to start calling me that instead.

i guess so. when i was little, i used to feel absolutely insulted when somebody spelled my name ending with IE instead of Y
well i'm basically over that :]
although, - and this may sound weird - i dont really like the way my name looks with my last name. they are both five letter words. i dont know why (dont be afraid to call me crazy) it just looks unsettling to me... if you catch my drift?

mines Katie and thats cool with me. its just wierd intoducing urself when ur name is katie cuz it sounds like a clump of pb. nways it doesnt roll of the tounge. :( but its cute girly and country-ish. which is what im all bout.

most ppl say my name is pretty/beautiful/unique
blaah
but i dislike my name at times when i think about because it kind of sucks to be named after a car. plus most times ppl cant even read or spell my name correctly so it sometimes get frustrating when i have to correct them...
