I may have gone over board when I had my first son lol but I packed an overnight bag for myself, my baby, and the father. I packed pajamas, change of clothes, going home outfits, personal hygene needs(toothbrush, hair brush, razor ect...), camera, snacks, pillow, balnkets for you since it will be in the winter.

I'm sure from all the other posts and common sense will thell you the normal things you'll need, but here are a few things I didn't think of that I wished I had. Lip balm! You might do some heavy breathing, and they don't really want you to drink... your lips could get really dry. This drives me nuts! Also, if you prefer your own shampoo/conditioner, bring a trial size or a travel size container of both, and a trial soap if you prefer that. A nightgown or pajamas for the nights after the delivery so you feel decent, lol. Just make sure you don't bring anything you don't want to get stained. Lotion is also a good one! Hope you have the best delivery and grats! Best of luck!

What a perfect day to have a baby. Thats my birthday. Take to the hospital a nice robe, slippers, grooming stuff and an outfit for the baby to have their picture taken in. I learned after my first one to wear the hospital gown rather than my good nightgowns. Make sure that the clothes that you take leave room for the left over baby weight and larger breasts so you dont try to squeeze back right away into your old clothes. I actually wore maternity pants home with a larger sweater. Dont forget a camera to take pictures.

Oh good Lord!! When I had my first I packed everything!! Where I live you're required by law to stay in the hospital for three days. I packed atleast three different going home outfits for the baby, four days worth of comfy, pajama like clothes for me, four days worth of clothes for my husband, tooth brushes, hair brushes, shampoo and conditioner, razors, extra contact lenses, blow dryer, pads, a complete diaper bag for the baby with everything under the sun, cell phones, magazines, pillows......just pack whatever you think will make you the most comfortable while you are there. The more comfort you have around you, the easier it will be. Good luck!!!
