Well, I'm 39 now, but gave birth to my daughter when I was 16.
Don't listen to the nay-sayers. You have every opportunity to become the amazing person you aspire to be...you're just doing things in a different order than what society prefers. And being a parent isn't easy for anyone, no matter what their age, so being older only means you're more tired!!

I'm not a pregnant teen, but I am the child of one. Hang in there. It's not easy. You have some very difficult choices to make. Trust the adults around you. And if you can't or don't, get an ombudsman (google it). They will be able to be your support in dealing with the "powers that be" in your situation. Just know that it isn't easy to raise a child as a teen parent, but it is possible. You just have to sacrifice your life for your childs. I still can't believe my mom was 15 when she had me and 16 when she had my brother. The most amazing part is that he and I both grew up to be well functioning, contributing, happy and adjusted adults. Best of luck to you...

Girl first off that girl that was hatting need to shut he mouth..... this is your life your baby ans your going to be the one taking care of your child not her.. so the hell with her and her Dam comments... First know that pregnancy doesn't have age attach to it... Second neither does sex.... So to be helpful yes your younge but there's no turning back now you have this beautiful baby that going to be in the world that you can love and be loved from.... and nothing comes between you and your child.. so just know that being pregnant is a blessing from God cause not all women can experience this joy that's going to be in your life soon.... All that matter is that you try to be the best mother you can be... Yes at times days can be tuff but you can always look at your baby and know that this is yours.. your blood your everything..... So don't worry about what he or she may say... what you do from this day is all that matters... I wish you and your baby a wonderful and blessed life and i will be praying for you.... Congrats

i'm 18 and 22 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. i've been married for a year and a half, we have a 11 month old, and we couldn't be happier. i am in college, and although i have more responsibilites than most freshman, i'm doing very well. i don't understand why people have to trash talk all teenage mothers. its so annoying.

I'm 21 and I'm not pregnant, but I just wanted to say something. Please take care of yourself. I knew someone who got pregnant at 17. She did not take care of herself at all. She drank alcohol and smoked cigarettes and weed. After she gave birth, the baby was born with her intestines on the outside and the baby died a month later. I'm not telling you this to scare you or to accuse you of doing those things. I'm sure you are doing everything you are supposed to be doing. Just please take care of yourself and your baby. Good luck!

Why didn't you use something? You'd better find a good daycare and get back in school as fast as you can. I'm not saying this to be mean, but you are going to be broke without an education. I hope you're not one of those girls who thinks it's cool to be knocked up at such a early age. Please go to school.
