We were a bit drunk when they were taken & she has all the digital photos with her. She said I have to stay for 6 months before she'll hand them back to me. What should I do?

Legally, as a pre-law student I can tell you that if she DOES post them it is NOT against the law unless she forced you take the pics. Otherwise any pictures taken with consent, in a common place or a place that the other person was invited to,and belong to her are her property and she can do with them as she pleases. UNLESS she willingly causes unecesarry or undue harm (i.e sending the pics to your boss causing you to lose your job). SO I suggest one, dont take these kind of pics with people you cant trust in the future, and just politely tell her you are no longer interested in pursuing a relationship. Chances are this girl doesnt really want to be with sombody who is just with her for some pics. And two, if you can record her saying she wont give you the pics unless you stay with her, and then you can take it to the police and file a charge for menacing/blackmail. Good Luck.

And then what'll happen after 6 months?

Blackmail! The nude pics she plans on posting....do they include her in them as well or are they only of you? If so, maybe you should bite the bullet and not give a crap about what she's going to do. Why stay with someone who threatens/blackmails you? If anything, most people pay attention to the girl in the nude photos, not the guy. I wouldn't worry about a thing.

Call her on her bluff. Leave the girl in the dust. Next time call her and demand for the pictures, but also tape record the conversation. And/or sue her for defamation of character. ha.

Call her on the phone and make sure you somehow slip the date & time in the conversation and then talk to her about the nudie pics and get her saying that she is going to blackmail you...and if she doesn't exactly say "blackmail"..then you should say "this is blackmail and it's wrong"...make sure you tell her in the conversation that you want her to delete these pictures and not post them on the internet. Then break up with her! Then you have the conversation recorded and then all you have to do is take it to court...she sounds crazy...so u better do it quick!!! then get a restraining order!! haha good luck!!

that is fugged up, i would be cool with her and get at them photos...

lawd digitals can be anywhere you may get rid of one copy and she has 100 and also may have them hidden in a photobucket or a memory stick...

boy that one can get ugly, empower yourself and figure out something to put this flame out.

one thing is certain if you let her think that shizz is ok 6 month's gonna be a year, then two maybe 3.

At some point you are going to have to face the fact she is gonna put em out there. Also is she in any of those photos?

I kno you don't want em out there but if all is in order this may be a blessing! if she is in em she is the one going to look foolish.

She's twisted, so it's a good thing that you recognize this and want to get out. What she's doing is blackmail, and if she continues to hold such nonsense over your head and you can't stomach the six months (which you shouldn't because you will only empower her to get more creepy and cruel) go to the police and report what she's doing. Blackmail is illegal, and she is threatening your privacy. Does she realize people have been sued in this country for much less than that? Good luck!

The most important thing is to NEVER show her that you are afraid of showing your photoes.. make this thing as nothing to you.. otherwise she'll always know that this is your weakpoint..
and i believe that the worst person on earth may turn out to be good with you if you just talk to her nicely and explain the reason you are not good for each other.. don't do it by fighting.

Dump her! If you were only nude...what's the big deal. If they are more intimate photos then tell her that, should you see these photos on the internet or anyplace else, your lawyer will be contacting her. Do you have witnesses to these photos? Witnesses for yourself? If so, make certain she knows this. Also, remember, she is in the photos also, isn't she. Is she going to put her nude photos out there also. I don't think so! Dump her!

Call her bluff. That's what i would do. Do you really think that she wants naked pictures of herself on the Internet. The question is would you be willing to take the chance? The pics of you cant be that bad.

She's going to come off looking worse than you.

What kind of girl is she anyway? Who would want to blackmail someone into staying with them.

Get rid of her. If she does go through with it then you can do something about it.

Are you out of your mind? Get as far away from this girl as fast as you can. You're breaking up with her! Who cares what she does with the pics? At least the pics will show you have some balls. Something you seem to be lacking at the moment.
