BATMAN FOR SURE! Hulk's big but Batmans quick with cool gadgets.

It would be a tie....I say that because if Batman stays away from the physical part of the battle, using his superior intelligence and gadgetry, he would most likely win... but if Batman got within an arms length of the Hulk, he's toast. He's human, has no super powers and couldn't even stand a sneeze from the hulk without getting something damaged beyond repair....so, like I said...It's a toss up.

id say Batman because he would find some way to outthink the hulk into sleeping or calming down and reverting to bruce banner
HOWEVER, with the world war hulk, im very sad to say, batman would be mincemeat in no time

batman is one of the greatest fighters in the DC universe but first and foremost he's a detective and a thinker; but thinking wouldnt be much use if he had to face a very angry hulk out in the open with no where to run or hide and without any pre-planned special chemicals, etc.

Everybody knows Batman carries a lot of Prozac and Ritalin in his utility belt, so all he's have to do is wait until the Hulk got close enough, throw them down Hulk's throat and then use his acrobatic abilities to stay out of the way until Hulk calms down... oh, hi Doctor Banner. Could I lend you some clothes?

Batman, if they ever knew about each other. He's already developed plans for stopping every DC hero. I'm sure with how wild Hulk is, he'd be a top priority for developing a plan to stop.

He'd probably have his scientists at Wayne Enterprises develop some sort of mega-tranquilizer or anti-gamma ray gun to strip Hulk of his powers temporarily.

this is the easiest question ever. a few years ago marvel comics did a 64 superhero/villian tournament of the strongest hero's and villians in the game. Batman got a first seed but he ended up losing to the hulk in the tournament but dont get to upset the hulk ended up beating the green latern in the finals.

The Hulk. To prove it, look at back issues of Batman where he got badly injured in a fight and had to retire. The guy he had a fight with was similiar to the Hulk.
Superman got badly beaten by a Hulk-like superbeing when he was killed in 1993 issues of the comic. Then a year later or so DC brought him back to life...the Superman resurrection.

Even though I would LOVE to say Batman would win...

I'm gonna have to go with The Hulk. Batman is just too human...gagets and fighting skills while Hulk has the ability to squash him with his foot or fist.

Batman hands down. He always fights with brain not brawn and he knows EVERYONES weakness. How many times has he had to take Superman's butt down a notch on The Justice League. No contest.
