You make a good point why would they be so willingly to tell on a kid, unless it is to protect an adult trying to cash in on an insurance claim, because the mortgage was going into foreclosure.
How did he light a match in those winds?
Why did he decide to play with matches on the start of the Santa Ana winds?
Come on now,
this is as bad as trying to blame, a squirrel and a raccoon on a spike in gas prices

There's a theory starting at the German magazine Spiegel that says the fires were set to get homeowners rid of their mortgage. The'll collect insurance, pay off their mortgage and buy another house at a much cheaper price. The insurers are Swiss or Germans so this scam won't hurt the US economy.

I still haven't seen a picture or name of that Kid. I'm questioning if he even exists...Think about it "playing with matches" and he happens to be 10 years old. How perfectly unaccountable. And all this is happening while there are fires in Mailibu and Camerio...the peices don't add up.

Being honest with the government is asking for it since the "law enforcement" mentality now overrules common sense.
