I don't know. Some person around here has their "icicle" Christmas lights hanging from their roof all year. It's so annoying.

It's ridiculous how many people have got their Christmas lights up in our area already too. But we're SO glad we don't live near someone who has the whole of their house decorated with lights and decorations in their garden. It'd do our heads in to have that sort of thing flickering every 5 minutes! We don't have objections to the people who do it for a charity but there are some who do it just because they LOVE annoying others. But hey, it'll be the January sales soon......approx start date middle November!!

We were shopping yesterday (November 3rd) and Christmas music was playing already! I nearly had a fit! And in the past, I've complained to store managers and radio stations when they do that too early! At least wait until after Remembrance Day.

He is probably going along with the stores putting the decorations out early to. Several of the stores here have lights, decorations and all already up. Plus, it must be his favorite holiday to celebrate. And it's his electric bill.

In my opinion leaving the lights up all the time is okay for older people, or people who have a hard time putting them up (heights).
It is the Halloween decorations that should come down sooner.

Make the most of Christmas in the UK.
it wont be long before the government bans it, because it might offend the Muslim community.

I guess not! In my town, there are already giant "Seasons Greetings!" signs and Christmas wreaths set up on the street lamps.
