It's not the daddy long legs, but i'm not sure what it is.

None of these answers involve an insect.

No insect is venomous to people (unless they have an allergy) but the various wasps and stinging ants like bulldog ants have similar, nasty stings.

I have always heard it was the Grand Daddy Long-Legs

I couldn't tell you what type of venom it has though.

And the reason it never bites us I've heard is because its mouth is too small?

I too had always been told that the Dadday Long legs had one of the most dealiest venom's but had no way to deposit it.

my guess is that the answer is likely to be a spider or one of those giant centipedes.. however, the most venonmous animal seems to be a jelly fish called called the sea wasp - aka afrur.

& the g.d. long legs is venomus, it's mouth is just to small to actually bite
