the reason this show is maybe popular is it reflects maybe the more hidden side to many of our own lives or not?
maybe it is just mine.

most of them, i wonder why they would want to parade their shame in public. either that, or they are making that junk up!

its fake, who can go on that show and actually think something good is going to happen. If someone asked you to go to Jerry Springer show, you wouldn't go. Like they hide all the guests and pretend they dont know. Another thing is, on all the later episodes all the women seem to "accidently" rip their shirts/tops or whatever off... i think people watch this show now for the laughs and how sad other peoples lives are. i used to watch it when t actually tackled real issues. Now its just people acting.

The guests do what people "feel" like doing.
If you found out your guy was dating your best friend, you'd probably want to rip her hair out.
Thing is, some people(unlike Jerry Springer guests) have some respect for themselves and realize both of them deserve each other and will just let Karma handle it. I would.

I think the majority of them are paid actors. Human beings love drama and outrageous situations. Throw in some violence and a roaring audience and you've got the equivalent of a car accident. People will naturally stop and stare, wondering what is going on.

can you imagine saying to your partner 'We're flying all expenses paid to appear on the Jerry Springer show' and them not asking why, only to have all revealed on air! Have to be actors or pond life.

I think they are an embarassment to the U.S. That type of behavior should be discouraged. I think it's popular because it makes everyone else feel better about themselves.
