First of all, tell her NOT to be afraid. Billions of women have their periods! If she's 12 and her boobs have started growing, and she has some pubic hair, tell her to be prepared. Always keep a pad on hand, and Midol, in case she gets stomach cramps in her lower tummy. (Under her belly button.)
Otherwise, have her ENJOY this time without it!! It's nothing to be afraid of, but it is a pain. We women have to suffer!! But she's gonna be just fine!! You must be a really god big brother. You get a star from me!! :)

Tell her that it is a normal natural part of life and that because her body is changing she is still the same person you love, its great when siblings are that close

well tell her not to worry if shes still in middle school (please e-mail me and tell details)it'll happen when it's suppose to and her private part will bleed but it doesn't hurt just when it happens (be ready)tell her to use a sanitary pad tell her to get a box when she turns 13 sister should tell mom or near female not you!

lol i was 2 when i was younger, i think thats cos i didnt understand periods properly...... but i went and talked 2 my doctor, and she explained things and now im not bothered about them..... so i think you need 2 tell her to c her doctor or talk 2 your mum. talking helps

tell her to talk to her mother, or close female adult that would be willing to talk to her about it. she shouldn't be talking to you about these things, she is prob. to young to fully understand what changes are going to take place in her body.
