Well my mom gave me the house cleaning job since I wanted to get a Wii and a phone and I needed to pay for both and now I have the job just to get things I want and pay my phone bill (I make $150 every other week cleaning the house)
And every other weekend, I space out the entire house over after school on Friday to Sunday...
Friday - guest bedroom, guest bathroom, game room, theater room, vacuum the stairs
Saturday - dust and vacuum the rest of the house
Sunday - clean all the bathrooms and mop the floors...
Pretty good, I think...

Through the week:
When I can't fit anymore dishes in one side of the sink, I do the dishes. When I don't have an outfit to wear the next day, I do laundry.
Then on Sunday I usually do all the other little stuff that accumulated around the house throughout the week & deep clean stuff if I feel like it, such as toilets, bathtubs...etc.

I have made (many) schedules for house cleaning.
I just lose or ignore them, and clean whenever I feel like it. That way, on a day I wake up with tons of energy, everything gets done. If I waited to apply a schedule, it'd drive me nuts.

Yes, I usually start early Saturday morning, always clean the bathroom first an finish with dusting in the living room.

Yes, before my lease is up at the end of this month. That will make it the second time I've cleaned it since I've lived here.

No just clean when it needs doing which is not very often cause we are very tidy couple.
