I can help you on this, but I need more of a description of what exactly caused those scratches. I work in insurance, so I could tell you whether you have a case or not. It has be to caused by negligence...what was the negligence practiced against your son?

He is entitled to have his medical expenses and lost wages paid. Some shyster lawyer could probably get him a lot of money.

If you are a good person you would ask for an apology and for them to pay the medical expenses. If you wanted to milk it you could add on emotion distress and other BS.

Oh if you take the Amusment park to court they will probably settle for something along the lines of $50000 - $75000. It really depends on how bad the scar is.
