Sadly if it wasn't for the popularity of the founder, Oprah Winfrey, it would probably not have made the news and would have been swept under the carpet or ignorted!! It is good though that for whatever reason for its publicity it has been brought to the light and it has been stopped!!

It became on in Greece. It became the 1st certainty instruct and so certainly human beings have been curious and watched it. however the 2d failed, so they invented different realities with a topic, like the farm (the place human beings lived in agricultural situations), the bar, the place they had to run a real bar, popularity tale, the place they have a music college and that they've concert events as quickly as each and every week, etc. The contributors substitute into relly famous on the time of the play, yet they're forgotten very immediately - different than for some very gifted ones, who cfontinue a making a music carrer.

It might not be as publicized, but it is certainly newsworthy. Sometimes, it is because a celebrity is associated with it, that it gets noticed. Look at all the priests that have done inappropriate things, that made it to the front pages of the news.
I hope that answers your question.

I knew your ? was going to be about this subject before I opened the link. I totally agree with you and we would never have heard a thing about it except somebody found something to try to put a bad light on Oprah! Shame on them, the media will blow anything out of proportion and I think it is atrocious to blame Oprah for any of this B/S that she had no control over.

I agree it would make the local news only. It is the Oprah tag that creates the international sensation.

Probably not, but newspeople, centered on celebs, generally are like bloodhounds on the scent of an escapee.
