I have a slightly above basic knowledge of electronics and tools. I want to utilize my keyboard in my music creation yet it only has an audio output port, not a midi port. I don't mind hacking it I just need help.

I don't know about your PC, but I have inputs front and back marked "Line in / Mic in", and "Mic in / Line in", and separate level controls on my audio controller, so I could have a mic and a keyboard both hooked up, and record keyboard and vocals if I so desired. Have a look, if your panel has a line in, problem solved.

If it does not have a MIDI port - you will not be able to hook it up
I do not believe your model is MIDI compatible
