I heared that if you paint a styrofoam ball it will disinigrate. But I have to color one for a project. how do i do it?

Acrylic paint watered down just a tad will do just fine. Since the texture of the styrofoam ball is crazy, you will have to rub it in a bit with your brush before you get overall coverage. Markers will not work at all. it will just damage the foam and you will have little dents everywhere if you aren't careful and will take a million years.

Well, first of all, what you've heard isn't true...Crafters paint styrofoam balls all the time. They actually take spray paint really well.

You could also cover it with glue and dip it in glitter...Or use permanent markers to add a design...Or wrap it in felt or tissue paper...
