period stories?!?!?

does anyone have any embarssing or funny period stories???
it could be a first period or just a regular one

This wasn't my first period, but my second. During me and my intermediate family go to our beach house. I hade left a week earlier then usual (my parents were already home with my bro's cuz of football and I was with my grandma) to go to Summer Slam with my best friend. Well we came back on Thursday or Friday night and we would leave the next day. I was thinking about bringing a pad just in case (I get my period at the end of the month and it was like the 30th, and I hadn't gotten it in 4 months) but I decided I wouldn't get it overnight and left with out any....I was wrong. So I get there and go to sleep and the next day I wake up and when I got to the bathroom there's a small red dot on my underwear and I'm like "Oh sh*t" so I pull my pants up and tell my mum, and the only pads she had down there were these HUGE womens overnight pads. So I put one on and i sit patiently for 2 HOURS before she finally decideds to bring me to the store. So I love swimming,surfing, kayaking, etc and there was no way I was gonna skip out on that (pluz this guy I had a huge crush on was at his beach house) just because of my period so we go to abouy 5 stores looking for tampons (There were plenty of them my size, but my mum wouldn't buy them for me unless they said 'teen' on them, are there even such things?) so finally I go to CVS and they have ones that say 'lites' on them. So i run to the car and ask her if I can get them, and she said yes but then she hands ME 10 dollars and makes ME buy them! So I go inside and buy them, and thank god there was this teenage girl at the register. SO the next day I was going to the movies with my uncle and 2 brothers and I decided to wear one of the tampons since it would feel uncomfortable sitting in a pad for so long. So we go to the movies and after like a half hour I feel sorta uncomfortable so I go to check and the tampon my mum made me buy was TOO SMALL for me and it leaked all over my underwear, even worst, their weren't any of those pad-machine things and I couldn't stuff toilet paper in my pants cause I was wearing these tight pants since I stained my old ones. That period really sucked. I hadn't got it again since then (it was August 30-September 5) and I might get it around christmas time. That would really suck since I would have to buy like 10 boxing of tampons since I'll be skiing in my family and I don't wanna freze in the rockies with my underwear wet!

my story is from my first period. I was out shopping with my Dad and my uncle when I went to the bathroom and it came. I didn't know what to do I just sat in the stall and started crying because my mom wasn't there and I didn't have a pad and I didn't know what to do. Well there was a woman in the bathroom who heard me and asked me everything was alright. I told her that I started my period for the first time and I was with my dad and my uncle and I didn't have anything and I couldn't go and ask my dad for a quarter because he would ask what it was for and I didn't want to explain. She told me not to worry that she would take care of it for me. A couple minutes later she handed me a pad under the door and I was all good. Then when I came out of the bathroom I thanked her and she said no thank you sweetie for letting me be a part of your big moment and welcomed me in to womanhood.

My story with my first period is that I started during the night and I had to go to school the next morning. I woke up my mom to tell her that it started and I got to stay home from school all that week. It was a good thing I did because I really needed to rest.

It felt so strange for my period to start at night because I was hoping it would start during the day but on a weekend or something like that.
