First of all by definition welfare or the dole cannot be privatized. When it is public we can keep an eye on what is going on. Privatization means stuff like Enron. They can be sneaky and wanting to get their greedy little paws on more money in their pockets where government is non profit. Can we trust a private corporation to be completely open and above board? If so, wouldn't that reveal business secrets they would not want competitors to know? What would be the revenue source for this privatized welfare company?

Bush was already trying to do that with his Faith based programs, but he got sidetrack by his effort to privatized the military. I am beginning to think we should privatize the presidency, and get some one competent to run the government.

Wouldn't that be like adding a middle man, that does nothing other than to pass a little less money down to the needy to be able to make profit?

You either have no sense or no command of the english language. What the H does your question mean?? "Privatized welfare" is an oxymoron.
