Ok, so here's what happened...
I downloaded something on my computer and I made the mistake of downloading all its components on my desktop instead of an appropriate folder. So anyway, I deleted all the items from that software on my desktop but I think that I may have deleted a few things I wasn't suppose to in the process because when I turned on my computer today certain files were missing.

I tried "Recuva" already to try to get my erased files back but that program only covers C:/ and D:/ drives whereas my files were on my desktop! How can I get my files back? Please help, they were for school.
