Hi There Is this cartridge which you or someone refilled for you? If so then maybe the ink is not the correct type, or you probably have clogged inkjet head.even if it's not refilled and you have had this cartridge standing for a long time without use then follow the steps below to activate it. Try and soak it in warm water for 5-8 minutes and then dub it on a kitchen towel paper, once it's unblocked, if it's colored cartridge you should see strong color bar of each color on the paper. if it's a black then you should see a uniform black bar, however if it still appears to be blocked then you will need to buy a new one. Hope it helps. Ash

Make sure you have the right ink for the printer first of all..............................!
When you insert the new ink cartridge the printer will confirm that the ink inserted is correct then you have to press OK and it should do a test sheet print out to make sure the ink is aligned properly!

Run a test page from printer options menu. Sometimes when changing cartridges, especially inkjet, they can get out of line or leave traces on the paper.

have you run a test page and re-aligned your new cartridge
when you put the new cartridge in - you go to the maintenance
part of your software for the printer and it walks you thru it
best of luck!
