No. You still have to file for it and the court has to grant it for it to be legal. You will have to be able to prove that you are able to live on your own and care for your child. If they believe you are able to live on your own before the age of majority, they can grant it. It's more than financial. They also look at maturity, attending circumstances, etc.

No. You need to petition the court and show means of self support and a good reason for granting it.
