No, but when I was younger, and I would take my friend out to eat, she would take the tip off of the tabe when we left. It upset me so bad, because that is a slap in the face. I was a waitress, and when that happend to me, I had to take it out of my tips at the end of the night, or hope that the manager would see it. Its so common people try to steel in the industry, that management has to see it to believe it. She was one of those people who dine and dashed, or hog and jogged. Its rude, because someone has to pay for it.

yes, but only after waiting at the table for the bill for 45 minutes, and then in the lobby for thirty minutes trying to get our waitresses attention. I still go there every once in a while and no one has ever said anything about it.

Once, I gave the money to my hubby to pay for dinner and I went out to get the car from the parking lot. I discovered later, that he had pocketed the money and just walked out after I left!

yes once, but I was an unwilling participant, we went out to waffle house and we went to leave and I thought my friends had payed but after we got in the car the waitress came chasing after us, i felt really bad, but luckily the bill wasnt that much.
