Because they say they have 100% beef, I believe it. A company the size of McDonalds could never keep it a secret if they were lying and the negative publicity would be devastating, not to mention the potential lawsuits and government fines. The risk is just too high.

Think of how many purchasing agents, suppliers, etc. know for a fact what McDonalds is buying. If they weren't actually buying 100% beef, certainly some of those people would go public with what they know and their evidence.

Now if it was a little neighborhood joint where only the owner knows what he/she buys, I wouldn't be as confident. And I'm no fan of McDonalds food and do not eat there - but I believe they sell 100% beef just as they claim to.

Mcdonalds states that their burgers are made with %100 real beef, however they don't tell what percent of the burgers contain the %100 real beef. Maybe only %10 is real beef.

According to their ingredient label, it is 100% beef - but it doesn't mention what part of the cow it comes from. It could be ground up head, eyes, ears and other parts that can't be sold on the grocery shelf.

So yeah, it probably is real beef - just don't know what part of the cow is being used.

When I looked up their chicken patties - yuk! They have to add defoaming agents to them. Why would chicken be foaming?

You may not like what McD uses in their food, but do you have any idea what goes into hotdogs? Where do all those hotdog makers get their meat from? People gobble them right up at the games.

I boycotted their beef forever! I haven't had a burger from McDonald's in over three years! I manily stopped eating them because of how unhealthy they are, but I found out about last year that they're not even real meat, gross! You couldn't pay me to touch one now! The only thing I ever order at McDonald's at all anymore is either breakfast or a McChicken and fries

No because I'm allergic to beef and if McDonalds had 100% beef I would be in trouble.

Yes, I believe their burgers are 100% real beef...but the thing you have to understand is that any part of the cow can be considered beef....so, we are talking, tongues, hooves...all sorts of weird stuff.

Plus, fast food restaraunts generally use very low grade beef...generally dairy cows that have stopped producing milk are used as fast food beef.

NOT AT ALL.
Maybe some part in there is SOME real.
But I believe that maybe like 5-10% of McDonalds burger is real. Honestly, the rest is filled with all that fat, grease, animal parts, remainders, etc. that we don't even know about.
It's really sickening.
