Are you trying implying that torture is just a way to kill people and not a way to stop terror?

It basically did him no good. French Resistance hero, Jean Moulin was tortured for days by the Gestapo and never gave the Germans the information that might have lead to the destruction of the French Resistance Cells in Marseilles.
The greatest intelligence work done in World War II was done at Bletchly Park, when the Brits cracked the German enigma codes. This was done without the use of torture and more than any other act of intelligence work served to hasten the defeat of Nazi Germany.

The most important thing about Adolph Hitler is not Adolph Hitler...it is that he was the popularly elected leader of Germany (and thereby Germans) for 11 years. He wasn't a dictator, he was a "man of the people"...makes you wonder about the people.
UPDATE: no need to correct me matey (australian accent there). Yes, the Furor was appointed, but he was still elected...by a Bush-esq majority. My point being, whatever murder and mayhem he wrecked...the German people (like the Americans with this Irak biz) wanted it.

Reichstag fire and the March elections
Having become Chancellor, Hitler foiled all attempts to gain a majority in parliament and on that basis persuaded President Hindenburg to dissolve the Reichstag again. Elections were scheduled for early March, but on 27 February 1933, the Reichstag building was set on fire.[38] Since a Dutch independent communist was found in the building, the fire was blamed on a Communist plot to which the government reacted with the Reichstag Fire Decree of 28 February which suspended basic rights, including habeas corpus. Under the provisions of this decree, the German Communist Party and other groups were suppressed, and communist functionaries and deputies were arrested, put to flight, or murdered.
Campaigning continued, with the Nazis making use of paramilitary violence, anti-Communist hysteria, and the government's resources for propaganda. On election day, 6 March, the NSDAP increased its result to 43.9% of the vote, remaining the largest party, but its victory was marred by its failure to secure an absolute majority, necessitating maintaining a coalition with the DNVP.[39]

For dictators like Hitler, torture is a means to an end. A way to get information, a confession or to get revenge. It's not used as a way of 'getting rid' of anyone. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

I didn't know Hitler tortured. It really took a lot of time and money to keep his enemies alive that long unless it was for medical research.

It just got rid of his enemies. Hitler didn't think he needed any help with his war, he thought that as the master political and military strategist of all time, he could do it all himself.
He was wrong.

who knows ,i think hitler and germany was a bigger project than we will ever know. in my opinion germany was an experiment created by the templars.why didnt hitler bomb sweeden? his bankers were there too? hitler did scientific research for atomic technology. german scientist tested nukes on jews and the poor working class ,someone obtained the secrets to design the first 1 then in japan someone used the first 1: i am sure torture played a role but it was minor comparinging to the outcome of nuclearfusion.

It did neither. I think it was a wash. Some were scared and did his bidding but others were pissed and fought against his regime. It got rid of some enemies but created more. I think world events are telling us that the people truly hold the power if they will stand on their hind legs and use it!! Africa and China are spots to watch!

Hitler didn't go in for torture, it was usually just a quick death. Firing squad, hanging, or the victim was offered poison.
